.:AISLING:.
.let's watch this city burn.
Aisling Hayes
NAME;;
GENDER;; Female
AGE;; Twenty (20)
BIRTHPLACE;; Glendale, AZ
NATIONALITY;; Irish
JOB;; Demolitions![/blockquote]
.from the sky over the top of the world.
APPEARANCE;; Aisling looks nothing like the type of person you'd think to survive of a zombie epidemic. Or the aftereffect of a zombie epidemic. Skinny arms accompany a slender, 5'03" tall body, and a flow of fair, almost pale blond hair hangs down to her shoulders, her fair blue eyes filled with lost innocence. Rosy cheeks lie against her light, almost pale skin, let alone a few scattered freckles on her face. The fact that she's actually a Demo rather than a Medic or Orienteer is usually found as surprising, seeing as she has no build or physique whatsoever, other than a pretty one.
There isn't much to say about Aisling's appearance. It's the typical blond-and-blue eyes Irish girl, but she has incredible added features that make up for her physical strength. For one thing, she has incredible eyesight, which gives her an advantage even when she's taking time to do such a thing as set up a C4, which makes her a fairly good Demo. Also, she has unbelievable stamina, though she often uses it for the wrong things due to her stubborn nature.
Clothes aren't an important factor in Aisling's life, especially since the world's pretty much reached its apocalypse, and she wants to make the best out of the exciting last moments of her life, rather than checking out the zombie-infested mall to pick out hawt new Abercrombie clothes. So, usually she'll just wear the simple clothes she can manage with, that are easy to get by (and she already has). Strappy, usually not colorful tanktops, and jeans. Maybe the old, tattered navy sweater she carries with her, if it were to get cold.
.'til there's nothing left of her.
[/color] Time has brought Aisling a crappy life. Years ago, she was a child who lived with her family, quite happy. She grew up in an Irish family of rather poor Arizonans, getting what she could find of an education at a busy public school in Glendale. She had always been the sociable one, the person who had all the friends, the popular girl. Hard to believe the same girl became who she was now.
HISTORY;;
When she was fourteen, she finally went to high school, earning a scholarship to a highly educated private school and believing that it would be a new turn for her family if she could finish it with good grades, and get into a good college, and someday earn the family money to survive. Everything rested on her shoulders (figuratively), and she struggled through high school for four rather horrible years until finally, the end of her senior near had come close. She had good grades, so far, and she had been accepted into an engineering college (she was quite good at it). All she had to do was survive the next couple of months. That ended up being harder than she expected.
Another month went by. Another week. And another, until it was the last week of high school. The last week before she had finally made it. That's when it happened. The meteor had hit some time ago, but it hadn't seemed at all important then. If only she'd payed more attention. She returned home that day to find her father dead. She mourned for him, but she still had her mother. That was something. A week later, her father came back- still dead. And killed her mother- ate her, actually. And Aisling ran. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her, and ran and ran. More and more zombies filled the world. She felt alone. She felt pissed. She wanted to kill them all, until she found her dead parents. And when she found them, she would find a way to revive them. Somehow. It was all she had to believe in- did she have a choice?
She fought for her survival with all she could find- a hatchet, good God- struggling not to die to the zombies. She sliced and diced with her tiny little hatchet, until one day she slipped, literally on the verge of losing, and, since life's not so much of a video game, dying. And she was saved by some old piece of shit who was pretty good with a gun. A human, too. Lucky her. The man took her on a boat, to some island in the middle of nowhere, where she would have loved to stay, but she had to find her parents. So she enlisted herself for this uber zombie fight crap, and was given a single C4. They're nice.
PERSONALITY;; Aisling changes moods quickly, as if she can't settle for one. She's just that bipolar- one minute she's angry, the next she's crying in your arms. She just doesn't know how to feel, other than alone, no matter how many people are around her. As much as they probably can, she feels as if nobody can understand how she feels. Like she's lost everything, that's how she feels. She worked so hard for so long, only to see her parents turn into mindless zombies. That generally isn't a good feeling.
Her last name, Hayes, means fire. It's quite fitting. When she does settle on an emotion, it's usually her furious temper. Her temperamental interior is like a minefield- one wrong step, and you're under. Way under. She can be cold when she's angry, and isn't afraid to tell the truth. And usually it's harsh. Plus, when she's angry, she has this way of making you feel bad about things, even if you aren't involved. That's just the way she can make you feel.
But in truth Hayes just feels lost- she wants someone to guide her, rather than having to be so independent all her life. She still wishes her parents were there to aid her, to help her in all the decisions of life. And as everyday drama as that sounds, it was only multiplied by having the world overrun by zombies. She was still a teenager, who felt like she couldn't fend on her own. But she doesn't have a choice, does she? But she's always wishing her parents were there, to guide her. To tell her if she'd done the right things, or scold her if she'd done the wrong.
She's more confused than anything, but she tries to guide that puzzlement with bravado and fake anger. She tries to look like she's not just a kid, like she's strong and powerful through being obnoxious and temperamental. Not exactly the truth, but it's as close as she can get. She knows nothing about fighting, except that she has to swing her weapon for her life if she wants to survive- in fact, the only thing she's good at are demolitions, which are built from engineering, which she studied in school. Otherwise, it's all just a show, really. And she's not sure how long until her curtain call.[/blockquote]
